Reasons For Acquiring Twitter

Acquiring Twitter

Elon Musk was highly enthusiastic with the social media platform and had the most exciting posts. Being the richest person in the world, acquiring Twitter was not to increase his self gains, however he stated that it is for the betterment of humanity.

A beautiful thing about Twitter is how it empowers citizen journalism – people are able to disseminate news without an establishment bias.

According to the news, he showed interest in buying the social media platform, back in April 14, however counter sues further delayed the process due to Twitter making "false and misleading representations upon which Mr Musk relied when entering into the merger agreement". Later with a trial deadline till October 28, Elon Musk fulfils the deal on October 27, 2022.

Freedom of speech has always been supported by Elon Musk while some of the prominent figures of the world were banned by Twitter for violations of it's rules of conduct. On the recent acquire of Twitter, some of these banned profiles may get reinstated, as in of the former president of USA, Donald Trump.

The reason I acquired Twitter is because it is important to the future of civilisation to have a common digital town square, where a wide range of beliefs can be debated in a healthy manner, without resorting to violence.

- Elon Musk stated while explaining his recent acquire of Twitter.

The Super Application of Elon Musk

X Application

The creation of X App has the motive of bringing everything under one platform, as Elon Musk plans. The domain x.com was bought back in the year 2017 as a competitor of Twitter, however, now with the acquisition of Twitter, it would be easy to create the all-in-one application even faster than before.

Fondly speaking of China's application named WeChat, Elon Musk shows optimism on the wide range of services provided, ranging from messaging, video calls, food delivery, online payments and others. Further he showed interest and stated that,

You basically live on WeChat in China because it's so usable and helpful to daily life, and I think if we can achieve that, or even get close to that at Twitter, it would be an immense success.

The X, everything app, would likely to be close to WeChat along with much more advanced inclusions of crypto payments and Tesla car controls.

However with future plans of integrating all services into a single available application, Elon Musk sets forth to speed up it's development within the next three to five years. Winning over the strongholds of the established tech applications like Amazon, Uber and Facebook, it is now time for us to set the hourglass, in experiencing the super future.
